I started getting this android is starting....optimizing apps 1 of 1. after reading this thread, i found the problem to be zedge. i've used this app for about 6 years, then a recent forced update started causing the error, making my phone take about 15 minutes to boot. i uninstalled zedge and got rid of the problem.. "android is upgrading, and afterwards it came optimizing application 1 of 158", later came as starting apps then tecno will come and the upgrading starts again for more than 24 hours. i need a solution to stop it and have access to the phone. i cant do anything with the phone so please give me the right solution.
Every time i reboot my lg g4 i get the android is starting. optimizing app 1 of 1... and takes about 15 minutes to finish each time. just goes to android is starting.. for 15 mins. just came back from lg "refurb". last time i buy this junk. this phone has been back to them 3 times since i've owned it for the same bootloop issue.. When you boot your android device from a fresh install or after performing a factory reset, android optimizes the apps installed on it and hence you see the “android is upgrading” or. Well when you’re booting up and android says “optimizing”, it’s basically making your apps run faster. the long story is that when an apk file is added to your android system, it’s not actually stored that way..
